Responsible printing doesn’t cost the Earth
Xerox ‘Responsible Printing’
- A pledge by Xerox to plant 50 trees whenever a user registers for the GreenPrint software
- The environmental benefits of GreenPrint software, that accompanies each machine,
to help reduce wasted paper
- Solid ink has no cartridge to dispose of after use - only a small amount of packaging
The Xerox ‘Plant a Billion Trees’ Contribution
For every Phaser 8560 sold, a donation to enable 50 trees to be planted will be made to The Nature Conservancy,
to support the Plant a Billion Trees campaign and the Atlantic Forest reforestation in Brazil.
About The Nature Conservancy
The Nature Conservancy is a leading conservation organization working around the world to protect ecologically
important lands and waters for nature and people. The Conservancy and its more than 1 million members have
protected nearly 120 million acres worldwide. The Nature Conservancy advances innovative and sustainable forest
management solutions at the scale of the problem – global to local – for the benefit of both people and nature.
We work with governments, communities, corporations and landowners to protect core forest reserves and to ensure
the responsible management of “working forests” that give us timber, jobs, sustainable economies, wildlife habitat,
fresh water and a stable climate.
Our forest conservation work includes:
- Combating illegal logging and advancing sustainable forest trade
- Protecting forest health
- Securing innovative conservation finance
- Protecting, restoring and managing forests
- Advocating supportive public policies
